Will the price of gold eventually fall?

I have been reading a great amount about people buying into Gold, basically because the Middle class asians will be buying it up as they get richer, many places will drop the US dollar as their currency, and with hyper inflation gold is the way to go.

Some people say "after it hits 1000 it will soar" and there is constant pressure it seems to buy into gold "before it all runs out"or "before its too late and you miss out"

I cant help but feel like the price of gold will eventually drop within a year or two, at which time I will buy some of it up, and it seems like investers and brokers are pushing harder than ever for us to buy it up as they know it will fall as well.

Does anyone know for sure? I can't find any reliable information that will prove or disprove this assumption.

Gold is more of a safe place to put your money than a place to grow it (although it can also be a place to grow it). I think they are being honest with you telling you to buy gold.

The government is printing a lot of money, and when there is more money, each dollar is worth less. This causes inflation, which means that everything costs more. Gold will be in higher demand as a place to keep up with inflation. Gold may help you stay ahead of inflation, so in the long run it is a good place to have some of your money, although not all.

I also recommend oils. If prices go up, then oil prices will go up, and you will also stay ahead of inflation. Also, oil is a limited resource that is extremely necessary in the world, and as it gets depleted, the price of it will go up.
