Im taking a flight to Munich and want to pack a digital scale. Is that allowed?

It's not illegal, but if it is damaged, the airline probably won't take responsibility. They never will for electronic items.

Also, if it is the kind of scale drug users use, they may treat you more suspicously at customs and security. If they are suspicous they may search further.

Why not just buy a scale when you get there?
