If England decided they wanted to retake control of Australia for its Natural Resources, who would win?

Hypothetically, if England decided they wanted to regain control of Australian soil to mine Natural Gas, Coal, Oil, Gold, Uranium etc... or to call upon what was once seen as their Empire, who would win if England attempted to land ashore & proclaim their rights once more?
Ahh the Ashes! What can I say "can't bowls, can't bat, can't throw" & def can't beat us!
